Junior Mehmood had expressed his desire to meet actors Jitendra and Sachin Pilgaonkar, after which both of them met him at his residence on Tuesday. Jitendra had worked with Junior Mehmood in many films including ‘Suhaag Raat’ and ‘Caravan’. Mehmood acted in more than 260 films in seven languages. He wrote ‘Brahmachari’, ‘Kati Patang’, ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’, ‘Geet Gaata Chal’, ‘Imandaar’, ‘Baap Nambari Beta Dus Nambari’, ‘Aaj Ka Arjun’, ‘Gurudev’, ‘Chhote Sarkar’ and Worked in many other popular films like ‘Judaai’. Junior Mehmood won applause by dancing to Mehmood’s famous song ‘Hum Kale Hain To Kya Hua’ in the film ‘Gumnaam’ released in 1965 and in the 1968 film ‘Brahmachari’ starring Shammi Kapoor. He not only danced on this song, imitating the style of his idol Mehmood, but also wore black color on his face, wearing a striped T-shirt and lungi like him.
