Mathura. Mathura administration and Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad are busy preparing to make the Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival grand. This time, for the first time on Shri Krishna Janmashtami in Mathura, a grand procession will be taken out from the birthplace of Shri Krishna. Officials associated with Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad are continuously holding meetings to prepare for the Shobha Yatra. Taking lessons from last year, a lot of arrangements are also being made in Banke Bihari Temple of Vrindavan. Devotees will be able to get darshan of Banke Bihari easily.

The procession will start from 8:00 am

Let us tell you that the festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated with great pomp in Mathura Vrindavan on 6th and 7th September. This time some different and special arrangements are being made. On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival, a grand procession will be taken out from the birthplace of Shri Krishna on 7th September. This Shobha Yatra will start from 8:00 am in the morning and will reach the birthplace of Shri Krishna around 12:00 pm via various routes of the city. Braj Vikas Parishad has prepared a roadmap to determine the outline and arrangements of the procession. It was decided in the meeting that the Shri Krishna procession would start from the main gate of Shri Krishna’s birthplace. Its route will pass through Potra Kund, Mahavidya Colony, in front of Govind Nagar police station, exit from Mathura Vrindavan Road, Deeg Gate and reach back at gate number one of Shri Krishna’s birthplace. The procession will be of about 3 kilometers. During this, security arrangements will be made along the way.

Braj Vikas Parishad CEO Nagendra Pratap told that the procession will be taken out with full dignity and grandeur. The troupe of artists who participate in the procession will move forward in order. The names of all the artistes and troupes will be finalized beforehand. So that there is no chaos during the procession. Special care will also be taken for cleanliness during the procession. Social workers will provide snacks to the artists, they will give them only in closed boxes. Along with this, as the procession progresses, cleanliness will also take place behind it. The garbage will be immediately collected and removed from the road. On the other hand, Gopeshwar Nath Chaturvedi, a member of Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan, has given suggestions to take out the procession with grandeur and welcome the place, which has been accepted.

50 children from Maan Mandir Barsana will participate in the procession

50 children from Maan Mandir Barsana will participate in the procession. These children will walk with the procession while chanting God. Apart from this, a team of 25 artists from Khaira village will perform in the joy of God’s birth. Sankirtan Mandali of Gaudiya Sampradaya from Vrindavan will also participate in the procession. District Tourism Officer DK Sharma has been made the coordinator of Shobha Yatra.

There will be queues from 1 kilometer in advance to have darshan of Bihari ji.

On the occasion of Janmashtami in 2022, around 6:00 am, a crowd of devotees had gathered during Mangala Aarti at Banke Bihari Temple. Two female devotees also died due to suffocation. Many devotees were injured. Strict arrangements are being made by the district administration and the temple administration so that this does not happen again. Barricading has been installed about 1 kilometer before the temple and with the help of this barricading, all the devotees will reach inside the temple with a single line arrangement.
