However, Renault has also launched such cars in India in the past, which were made for emerging markets like Brazil. The French car manufacturer may soon launch the Cardian crossover in the Indian car market.

The European market Renault Cardian crossover is the first car from the automaker to introduce its new front profile design language. The Cardion crossover flaunts a redesigned brand logo and its unique lighting signature. The Renault Cardian crossover sports a compact silhouette. Slim LED headlamps are found on its top face. The bumper has gray plastic inserts, which probably house the fog lamps.

Features of Renault Cardian

Roofbars and rear fenders will also be seen in the Renault Kardian crossover. It may come as a high-riding alternative to the Dacia Sandero Stepway hatchback and will get some strong upgrades like increased ride height, integrated skid plates, plastic cladding on the fenders and wheel arches, among other elements to make it stronger. Features will be available. Earlier, Renault had shown the liftgate of the crossover, revealing the model word mark below the new badge. Apart from this, a part of the tailgate and roof spoiler were also displayed.

Renault Cardian interior and engine

French car manufacturer Renault has not revealed the interior of the Cardian, but it is expected to have many modern features. Powering the crossover will be a 1.0-litre engine, which will be capable of generating a maximum power of 64 bhp. Along with this, it will also have a turbocharged 1.0-litre engine, which can generate 88 bhp peak power.

The cheapest car of Renault cars in India is Kwid, which is available in the market at a price of around Rs 4.70 lakh. At the same time, the most expensive car of Renault is Kiger, which is available for Rs 11.23 lakh. The latest model in Renault’s lineup is Kiger, whose price starts from Rs 6.50 lakh to Rs 11.23 lakh. Renault’s cars priced below Rs 10 lakh in India include Kwid, Triber and Kiger. Renault’s current lineup includes cars like Kiger, Kwid and Triber.
