This PCS officer in UP did not accept the transfer order, after being on leave for six months, the government suspended him

Lucknow News: The Uttar Pradesh government has suspended PCS officer Sub-Collector Shailendra Pratap Singh for not obeying the transfer order. Shailendra Pratap Singh, posted as Sub-Collector in Ghazipur district, was transferred to Varanasi some time ago. He had not taken charge at the new place of posting. Along with this, he was disappearing without informing. On receiving the complaint, the Appointment Department investigated the matter, in which the allegations were found to be true. After this, the government has now suspended Shailendra Pratap Singh on charges of indiscipline. Additional Chief Secretary of the State Appointment Department, Devesh Chaturvedi, has issued his suspension order. There is a lot of discussion about this suspension in the bureaucracy of UP. Many questions are being raised about the PCS officer ignoring the transfer order and not going to the place of posting and missing without informing. The government has given a strict message by suspending the PCS officer. Shailendra Pratap is a PCS officer of year 2015 batch. About six months ago, he was transferred from Ghazipur to Varanasi. It is being told that instead of joining in Varanasi, he went on leave. In this way, many questions were being raised regarding going on leave. It is being said that suspension action has been taken for the first time in case of non-compliance of transfer order.

Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh government is soon going to relax the rules for becoming a forest guard through promotion in the forest department. The state government has decided to give relaxation in the standards set for physical examination. The proposal to amend the Uttar Pradesh Forest Department Sub-Subordinate (Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard) Service Rules-2015 was placed before the Cabinet on Tuesday. But, it has not been approved yet.

In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, instructions have been given to prepare this proposal afresh. It is being told that the state government is going to reduce the height standard in this. By relaxing the rules, the vacant posts of forest guards will be filled. The proposal to amend the rules will soon be placed before the cabinet.
