Hero Maverick 440 Engine
The engine of Hero Maverick 440 premium motorcycle will come with a 440cc single-cylinder engine like the Harley Davidson X440. This engine gives an output of 27 HP. The engine of Hero’s new bike generates peak torque of 36Nm, which is 2Nm less than the Harley Davidson X440. The engine has been re-tuned to suit the character of this motorcycle, while it is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. Along with this, Hero Maverick 440 has been given an aggressive roadster like design with a muscular tank. Its wheels are 17 inches in diameter.

Hero MotoCorp has fixed the ex-showroom price of its new premium bike Maverick 440 between Rs 1.99 lakh to Rs 2.24 lakh. This motorcycle has been developed on the platform of Harley Davidson X440. In terms of its looks and price, it has entered the premium segment.
Hero Maverick 440 delivery and competition
Hero MotoCorp has started booking Maverick 440. Its delivery will start from April with three variants. In the Indian market, it will compete with bikes like Triumph Speed 400, Jawa 350, Honda CB350 and Royal Enfield Classic 350. The biggest thing is that despite being the most expensive bike of Hero, this motorcycle is priced less than its main competitors.
