Micro SUV Tata Punch has set a production record of 3 lakh units in January 2024. Tata Motors has shared its picture on social media. The car manufacturer has succeeded in selling 1 lakh units of Tata Punch in the last nine months. This micro SUV of Tata Motors has direct competition with Hyundai Exeter in the market. The company has launched its CNG edition in the market and now it is busy preparing to launch its electric version.

Tata Motors launched its micro SUV car Punch in October, 2021. At present, this car is the second best selling car after Nexon SUV. Its average sales every month are around 10,000 units. It is one of the best-selling SUVs in India, regularly featuring in the top 10 car lists.

Tata Motors has launched the CNG version of Punch in India. Micro SUV Punch is available in four variants Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative. Camo Edition is based on its Adventure and Accomplished variants. This is a 5 seater car, in which five people can sit. The regular Punch has a boot space of 366 litres. The ground clearance of this Tata Punch vehicle is 187 mm. Ex-showroom prices of Punch start at Rs 6 lakh, going up to Rs 9.52 lakh.

Tata Punch micro SUV car has a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which generates power of 86 PS and torque of 113 Nm. Along with the engine, it has the option of 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox. The same engine is also available in its CNG variant, but in CNG mode its power output is 77 PS and 97 Nm. It has a 5-speed manual gearbox with CNG variant.
