Tata Tigor electric car has received a new update. Some new features have been added along with new variants and new color options. Its ex-showroom price starts from Rs 12.49 lakh, which goes up to Rs 13.75 lakh. Tata Tigor EV car comes in a total of four variants, which include XE, XT, XZ Plus and XZ Plus Lux.

Ziptron EV technology from Nexon Electric has been given in Tata Tigor. Tigor Electric has a 26kWh battery pack. The electric motor installed in it generates power of 75PS and torque of 170Nm.

Tata Tigor’s battery takes 8.5 hours to charge from 0 to 80 percent with a standard wall charger. At the same time, its battery gets charged in 60 minutes with 25kWh DC fast charger. Its ARAI certified range is 315 kilometers.

Tigor EV has features like 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, multi-mode regenerative braking, cruise control, auto AC, height adjustable driver seat and electric foldable ORVMs. Features like leatherette upholstery, auto headlight and connected car technology are also provided in it.

Safety features of Tata Tigor

For the safety of passengers, it gets safety features like ABS with EBD, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Tire Pressure Repair Kit, Dual Front Airbags and Hill Assist/Descent Control, Rear Defogger, Rear Parking Sensor and Rear View Camera. Currently, there is no direct competitor available in the market. It can be chosen as a premium option from Tata Tiago EV and Citroen C3 EV.
