Maruti Suzuki Electric Car: India’s leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India is going to launch its new electric Maruti EVX car. After debuting in the global market, its production model is currently being sent for sale abroad. It is being told that the automaker can launch its new electric SUV car EVX in April 2025, but before that, preparations have been completed to send it abroad. It is also being told that the price of this car will be quite low at the domestic level. This has also been seen several times during testing. Maruti’s Japanese subsidiary Suzuki has also showcased it at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 held in Tokyo from 26 to 31 October.

Maruti EVX SUV is a 5 seater car, whose ex-showroom price in India can be around Rs 25 lakh. Maruti Suzuki India can launch it in India in April 2025. Recently, its picture has also been taken with a spy camera during testing. These pictures are also going viral on social media. On the basis of these pictures, discussions are being held about its design and features. However, no official information regarding this has been provided by the automaker.
Maruti EVX battery, motor and range
Based on the spy shots, it is being estimated that the concept electric SUV car of Maruti EVs has a dual motor setup with a 60 kWh battery pack. The company has stated the range of this vehicle as 550 kilometers. The EVX car will come with 4×4 powertrain.
Features and competition of Maruti EVX
Features like LED light elements, large touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging and regenerative braking can be provided in Maruti EVX electric SUV car. In the Indian car market, it will compete with Hyundai Kona Electric and MG ZS EV. This will be a more premium option than Mahindra XUV400 EV and Tata Nexon Electric.
