He has received an invitation from the Central Government to watch the Republic Day parade sitting with his family in the VIP gallery. Also, on 26-27 and 28 January, he will participate in different programs as a special guest in New Delhi.

Let us tell you that teacher Dr. Sapan Kumar, the father of the blackboard model, also participated in the special program organized in Delhi in the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat program. Apart from this, Dr. Sapan Kumar was also invited to participate in the G-20 Service Summit held in India. Dr. Sapan was also discussed by the Honorable Prime Minister in Mann Ki Baat radio programme. Dr. Sapan says that he is a teacher from a remote rural area where it is very difficult to reach.

This is a tribal area and even among the tribes, they are a tribe where most of the people have not received education. People have not touched the copy pen. Dumka used to be the biggest city for the children of this area. In such a situation, efforts are being made to fulfill Honorable Prime Minister’s dream of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat and Bapu Ji’s dream of Village Swaraj in this village.

Be it during the time of Covid or after Covid-19. When a difficult situation arose, instead of buying blackboards from the market, everyone together with mutual cooperation made blackboards on all the walls of the village, using resources available in nature. Necessary dusters, brooms and mats were manufactured in the village itself, while efforts to fulfill the dream of self-reliance of Gram Swaraj are also continuing.

Dr. Sapan says that today the children of our school also know America and Japan. He is constantly working to make India better by making the children keep pace with the country. He said that he is a teacher from a very backward area, where efforts are being made to shine the light of education. Along with making the community aware about education, special programs like social awareness and adult education programs, knowledge of alphabets in electricity poles, awareness about millet etc. are being run.

It is known that during the lockdown during the Corona period, Dr. Sapan, with the help of the community, had continued the education of the children by making black boards on all the walls of the village, writing the lessons of the books and drawing pictures. After receiving the honour, Dr Sapan Kumar said that Republic Day is an important day for India. This day celebrates India’s long journey from colonial rule to becoming an independent republic.

Dr. Sapan said that this is the biggest honor of his life as a teacher. As a teacher, being included as a special guest of the Government of India in the VIP gallery is the biggest gift of his life. He further said that this is an honor to all the people of the country who are working under difficulties and contributing in making the country better. This honor he received on the occasion of Republic Day is an honor for all the people of Jharkhand state. Especially the community with whom he has been working for years. At the same time, this school is a respect for all the members of the family.
