Diwali-Chhath special train 2023 For Bihar: After the completion of Dussehra, the process of migrants coming to Bihar for Diwal and Chhath will start. People who came to Bihar during Dussehra are also returning back. For their convenience, many Puja special trains are being run by the Railways for the convenience of the passengers. In this series, it has been decided to run many festival special trains including Patna-Anand Vihar, Saharsa-New Delhi. This information was given by Chief Public Relations Officer Virendra Kumar.

Patna-Anand Vihar Terminal Special Train

  • Patna-Anand Vihar Terminal Special Train: People coming and going from Delhi’s Anand Vihar to Patna will get convenience from this train. It will depart from Patna at 16:00 hrs on 29th October and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 09.30 hrs the next day. In return, this train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:40 am on November 1 and reach Patna at 05:00 pm the next day.

  • Anand Vihar Terminal-Patna Special Train: This train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 23:55 on 10, 11, 13, 14 and 16 November and reach Patna at 15:45 the next day. In return, this train will depart from Patna at 18:45 hrs on 11, 12, 14, 15 and 17 November and reach Anand Vihar Terminus at 10:20 hrs the next day.

Train for Saharsa and Bhubaneswar

  • New Delhi-Saharsa Special Train: It will depart from New Delhi at 15:30 hrs on 10, 11, 13, 14 and 16 November and reach Saharsa at 16:30 hrs the next day. In return, this train will depart from Saharsa at 19:00 hrs on 11, 12, 14, 15 and 17 November and will reach New Delhi at 20:20 hrs the next day. This train will run via Chhapra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Begusarai, Khagaria, Simri Bakhtiyarpur.

  • Bhubaneswar-Anand Vihar Terminal Special Train: It will depart from Bhubaneswar at 10:00 on 28th October and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 14:30 the next day. In return, this train will depart at 6:00 am on November 1 and reach Bhubaneswar at 10:30 am the next day. It will run via Gomo, Deendayal Upadhyay Junction.

Barauni route train, will be able to return home from Guwahati-Kolkata

  • Guwahati-Anand Vihar Terminal Special Train: It will depart from Guwahati at 14:00 hrs on 28th October and reach Anand Vihar Terminus at 00:25 hrs on 30th October. In return, this train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 00:30 hrs on 2nd November and reach Guwahati at 14:00 hrs on 3rd November. This train will run via Barauni, Patliputra, Deendayal Upadhyay Junction.

  • Kolkata-Delhi special train: It will depart from Kolkata at 16:55 hrs on 28th October and reach Delhi at 15:20 hrs the next day. In return, this train will depart from Delhi at 23:55 hrs and reach Kolkata at 00:45 hrs on 3rd November. This train will run via Dhanbad, Gaya, Deendayal Upadhyay Junction.

A special train is being run by the Railways to participate in the Meri Mati, Mera Desh program in the closing ceremony of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. From October 28, an Amrit Kalash passenger special train train number 03205/03206 Patna-New Delhi-Patna special is being operated from Patna to New Delhi. Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, Virendra Kumar said that Train No. 03205 Patna-New Delhi Special will depart from Patna at 18.45 hrs on October 28 and will reach New Delhi at 1 pm the next day, stopping at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Junction at 23.30 hrs. In return, train number 03206 New Delhi-Patna Special will depart from New Delhi at 10 am on 1st November and will reach Patna at 4:15 pm the next day, stopping at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn at 23:15. This special train will have 16 sleeper coaches. Apart from this, it has been decided to run Amrit Kalash train from Dhanbad and Gaya also.

Ticket counters have been increased, trains will be scheduled in advance.

As soon as the festivals start, the crowd of passengers has started increasing at the stations. In view of this, the number of additional ticket counters and automatic ticket venting machines has been increased at many important stations of East Central Railway including Patna Junction, Danapur Junction, Rajendra Nagar Terminal. CPRO said that passengers should not face any inconvenience in boarding the trains. For this, the trains will be parked on the platform half an hour before the departure time.
