PM Narendra Modi unveiled the statue of Ramlala in Ram temple in Ayodhya. Ramlala has been seated in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple.
For this program, many stars from the world of sports, entertainment and business reached Ayodhya and became witnesses of the historic moment.
Many celebrities from the sports world including Sachin Tendulkar, Ravindra Jadeja, Anil Kumble, Venkatesh Prasad, Mithali Raj, Saina Nehwal and PT Usha reached Ayodhya.
At the same time, many stars did not attend despite being invited. These include former greats like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag.
At the same time, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin from the current Indian cricket team also did not reach Ayodhya. The reason behind this is believed to be the Test series between India and England.
