These FIRs were included in the ECIR of Yogendra Tiwari case, know what are the allegations

Ranchi: In the case of liquor businessman Yogendra Tiwari, the ED told the court that IIR RNZO/09/2022 was registered on March 31, 2022 to investigate the money laundering case. First of all, four FIRs lodged in police stations were included in this. In this, FIR was included under land grabbing, taking the land known as Rai Bangla with the help of fake documents, illegal mining of sand and Excise Duty Act. On the basis of the facts found during the investigation, 15 more FIRs registered in the police stations of the district were included in this IIR. In these FIRs, other types of allegations have been made including irregularities in liquor trade, sale of sand without invoice, accumulation of sand at the rate of 65,000 tonnes per month more than the limit prescribed in the stock license.

FIR – 01

In FIR number 342/2020 registered at Deoghar police station, 26 people including Yogendra Tiwari were accused of land grabbing. During investigation, ED found out that Yogendra Tiwari and others together had grabbed the land of Shashi Singh’s wife Kiran Singh on the basis of fake documents. They also looted five lakh rupees from him and threatened to kill his entire family. Kiran Singh had purchased this land in 1998. Besides, she was paying all types of taxes prescribed by the government.

Fir – 02

An FIR 50/2020 was registered against Yogendra Tiwari and others at Deoghar police station. In this FIR, Yogendra Tiwari and others were accused of preparing fake sale deed of land and obtaining possession certificate (LPC) of the land. During investigation, ED found that LPC Circle Officer Amar Prasad had sent the transfer of 27,413.25 square feet land of plot number 775, 776 of Shyam Ganj through his e-mail to the sub-registrar of Deoghar on January 16, 2020. On the basis of this fake LPC, the sale of land was shown with the help of two sale deeds in the name of M/s Saran Alcohol and Brajmohan Singh.

FIR – 03

FIR number 27/2020 was registered at Margomunda police station in Deoghar district in connection with illegal mining of minor minerals. In this, M/s Saran Alcohol Private Limited and others were made accused. In this, a surprise inspection of Pandania sand mine was jointly conducted by the zonal officer and the station in-charge. This mine was being operated by Saran Alcohol. At the time of inspection, there was mention of 91,250 cubic feet of sand mining. But, only 80,000 cubic feet of sand was found there. That means 11,250 cubic feet of sand was stocked illegally.

FIR – 04

An FIR (01/2022) was registered under ‘Oxide Duty Act-1915’ at Rikhiya police station in Deoghar. It was said that during investigation, Maruti-Suzuki Dezire (JH15W-2850) was stopped at Deoghar check post. Two mobile phones and Rs 1.51 lakh were seized from driver Chandramani. Liquor bottles kept in the car were confiscated. During investigation, the driver produced the document of M/s Saran Alcohol. Investigation found that JH15G-4463 was authorized to carry liquor. But it was being wrongly transported in another vehicle. During interrogation, the driver admitted that he was smuggling liquor. The directors of M/s Saran Alcohol Company are Yogendra Tiwari and Amarendra Tiwari. In the FIR, the company was accused of being involved in liquor smuggling.
