Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
Ertiga is one of the top selling cars of domestic manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India. This is a seven seater family car. The brand has sold around 14,209 units of this model in October 2023. Its price in ex-showroom India starts from Rs 8.64 lakh, which goes up to Rs 13.08 lakh. It is sold in four variants LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI Plus. The option of CNG kit is available in its two variants VXI and ZXI. Its boot space is 209 liters, which can be increased to 550 liters by folding the third row seats.
engine : Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has a 1.5-litre DualJet petrol engine with mild hybrid technology. This engine generates power of 103 PS and torque of 136.8 Nm. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard with the engine. At the same time, 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox has been kept optional in it. The option of CNG kit is also available with this MPV car. With CNG kit it gives power of 88 PS and torque of 121.5 Nm.
Features: Maruti Suzuki Ertiga includes a new 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, paddle shifters and connected car technology (telematics). Apart from this, features like cruise control, auto headlamps and auto AC are also provided in it. For the safety of passengers, it has dual airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, rear parking sensors and ISOFIX child seat anchorage. Features like two additional airbags (total 4) and hill hold control with ESP are also provided in the top variants of this MPV car.
Mahindra Scorpio
Mahindra Scorpio comes second in the list of seven seater family cars. Mahindra & Mahindra sold about 13,578 units of this model in October 2023. Scorpio N comes in the top model of Mahindra Scorpio. The company has increased its prices by Rs 75,000 in recent days. Mahindra Scorpio N price starts at Rs 12.74 lakh, ex-showroom India, and goes up to Rs 24.05 lakh. It is available in four variants Z2, Z4, Z6 and Z8. This car is available in 6-seater and 7-seater layout.
engine : Both petrol and diesel engine options are provided in Mahindra Scorpio new model. It has a 2.2-litre diesel engine with two power tunings (132 PS per 300 Nm) and 175 PS (370 Nm and 400 Nm). The output of its 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine is 203 PS (370 Nm and 380 Nm). With both engines, it has the choice of 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox. Rear-wheel-drive drivetrain is standard with all powertrains, while 4-wheel-drive option is also available with the diesel engine.
Features: This SUV car has features like 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual zone climate control, cruise control, wireless phone charging and 360 degree camera. Apart from this, its feature list also includes steering mounted controls, sunroof and semi-digital instrument cluster. For the safety of passengers, it has been provided with features like multiple airbags, rear parking camera, hill assist control and electronic stability control (ESC).
mahindra bolero
Mahindra Bolero comes at third place in the list of top three seven seater cars. Mahindra & Mahindra sold about 9,647 units of this model in October 2023. The company has increased its prices by about Rs 31,000 during the festive season. The ex-showroom price of this car starts from around Rs 9.78 lakh, which goes up to around Rs 10.79 lakh. It is available in three variants B4, B6 and B6 (O).
engine : Mahindra Bolero new model has mHawk D75 1.5 liter diesel, which is capable of generating power of 76 PS and torque of 210 Nm. Along with the engine, it has the option of 5-speed manual gearbox. It comes with two-wheel-drive system.
Features: Features like driver information system, digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth-enabled music system with Aux and USB connectivity, manual AC and power steering have been provided in Mahindra Bolero. At the same time, for the safety of passengers, features like ABS, dual front airbags, rear parking sensor and speed alert have been provided as standard.
