Ranchi: There will be severe cold in the state from January 24. The temperature of many districts including the capital will fall. The temperature in the urban area of the capital may remain around eight degrees Celsius. Such situation may last for the next two-three days. The weather center has predicted that such a situation will prevail in many districts. During this period, there may be fog at some places in the morning. The sky will be clear. The temperature will drop late at night. The maximum temperature during the day will be between 23 to 24 degrees Celsius. There is no change in weather patterns expected till January 27.
Rain in Kolhan: It rained in many areas of Kolhan in 24 hours. There was six mm rainfall in Haat Gamhariya and around three mm rainfall in Jagannathpur. Due to clouds and rain the maximum temperature of that area fell. While the minimum temperature increased slightly. The maximum temperature of the capital was recorded at 22.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday and the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.4 degrees Celsius.
Two flights canceled due to fog, half a dozen flights arrived late
Airlines remained affected on Sunday due to dense fog in Ranchi. Due to this, two flights from Ranchi were cancelled. More than half a dozen planes came to Ranchi late. Indigo flight 6E5535 Delhi-Ranchi, Indigo flight 6E221 Bengaluru-Ranchi remained cancelled.
