It is extremely cold in Jharkhand in the morning and evening. The cold increases due to westerly winds. There is no hope of relief from cold for many days to come. There will be fog in Jharkhand, there will be rain
Ranchi-based meteorological center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that there will be fog/mist in the morning from 8 to 10 February. There will also be partial clouds. The effect of western disturbance will be seen again from 11th February and due to this there will be rain also. The Meteorological Department has said that there will be light rainfall at some places in the north-western parts of Jharkhand.
It will rain in Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra, Latehar
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain at isolated places in Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra and Latehar districts. According to Meteorological Department chief Abhishek Anand, a new western disturbance is being seen. Due to its effect, there may be rain in these four districts of Jharkhand.
Manoharpur will receive 5.6 mm rainfall
He said that during the last 24 hours, light rainfall occurred at isolated places in the southern parts of the state. Maximum rainfall of 5.6 mm occurred in Manoharpur (West Singhbhum). There was 1.4 mm rainfall in Kumardungi, 1.2 mm rainfall in Hatgamhariya and 0.2 mm rainfall in Chakradharpur.
Chance of rain with thunderstorms on 12th and 13th February
The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 29.6 degrees centigrade in Chaibasa. The lowest minimum temperature in Jharkhand was 11.6 degrees Celsius, which was recorded in Godda. On 12th and 13th February, there may be isolated rain and thundershowers in northern and adjoining areas.
Fog in Ranchi till 11th February
Talking about the weather forecast of the capital Ranchi, there will be fog or mist in the morning till 11th February. Later the weather will be dry. There may also be partly cloudy sky in the morning between February 9 and February 11.

Abhishek Anand said that due to the formation of western disturbance, there may be a change in the weather from February 11. There may be partly cloudy sky in Palamu division area on 10th February. Light rain may also occur in this area from 11am onwards.

He said that the minimum temperature has increased by 2 to 5 degrees centigrade from normal. This is happening due to western disturbance. It is still cloudy in many districts. The weather may remain like this for a day or two. When the sky is clear the temperature may drop by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius.
