There will be no counseling for these candidates of Bihar teacher recruitment, know why KK Pathak issued the order

The counseling of teacher candidates appointed in the second phase of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has started from 26th December. But there are some candidates whose counseling has been banned. These are those candidates who were recommended by Bihar Public Service Commission for the post of teachers in government schools of Bihar, but they do not have Aadhaar number or mobile number linked to Aadhaar. Along with this, counseling of those teacher candidates who have changed their photo or name in Aadhar card within six months has also been banned. The cases of such candidates will be kept in doubtful status. This matter will be investigated thoroughly. In this matter, necessary guidelines have been given by Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, KK Pathak, to the District Education Officers of all the districts of the state.

‘M Aadhaar App’ will help in knowing who changed Aadhaar details and when

In fact, in the discussion held by the Additional Chief Secretary with the District Education Officers through video conferencing, it has been revealed that if the Aadhaar linked mobile number of the candidates is entered on ‘M Aadhaar App’, then the complete history of the said candidate can be seen through OTP. It can be known that when has the candidate changed his photo, name, address etc. This will reveal what changes the concerned candidate has made in his Aadhar card in the past days.

Instructions to check changes made in Aadhaar

In view of this, Additional Chief Secretary KK Pathak has instructed the District Education Officers to compulsorily look at the history of changes made in the Aadhaar of all the candidates appearing for counselling, and satisfy themselves whether there is any irregularity. If any irregularities are found, counseling should be postponed.

Many candidates misled the department by changing their photos

It has been made clear in the official order that during counselling, special care should be taken that if any candidate has changed his/her Aadhaar card details like photo or name in the last six months, then such cases will be considered doubtful. Be kept and their counseling should be postponed. Actually, many such cases have come to the department. In which the candidates have misled the department by changing the photo in Aadhaar during the employment exercise.

Bank accounts are being opened at the counseling center itself.

In order to ensure that the appointed teachers get their salaries on time, bank accounts are being opened at the counseling center itself after verification of documents. For this, counters of various banks have been opened at the counseling centres. District Education Officer Amit Kumar said that after counseling of teacher candidates, bank accounts are being opened on zero balance. The day the newly appointed teachers are posted in the school, their salary will start. Keeping this in view, a bank account is being opened. So that they do not face any problem in paying salaries. Salaries for the month of November have been paid to 3200 teachers appointed in the first phase.
