But even today the fight for supremacy between these gangs is seen in the southern area of the city. Recently, Ansari gang leader Tinku Ansari died under suspicious circumstances, so now many criminals are competing to become the leader of this gang. Whereas Feku Mian gang, which broke away from Ansari gang, is also still active.
Two gangs dominated in the nineties
In the nineties, Ansari and Sallan gang had dominance in the world of crime in the southern area of Bhagalpur. Inayatullah Ansari was in command of the Ansari gang and on the other side was the Sallan Mian gang. There used to be conflicts between the two regarding supremacy. The conflict between the two gangs had escalated to such an extent that the henchmen of both the gangs were bent upon killing each other. After which the underworld gang of the city had become disturbed. The situation was such that the leaders of both the gangs had to go to a Dargah and take oath. But even then the bitterness could not go away.
Ansari gang broke, nephew took command after Ansari’s murder
Feku Mian, associated with the Ansari gang, had changed sides. He had established his dominance in Hussainabad-Moghalpura. It was on his instructions that gangster Inayatullah Ansari was murdered in Kolkata. On the other hand, after the murder of Sallan Mian, Pappu Khan took command of the Sallan Gang. Feku Mian had grown close to Pappu Khan. After Ansari’s murder, his nephew Wasiullah alias Tinku Ansari took command of the gang. Who recently died under suspicious circumstances. The fire of his uncle’s murder was burning in Tinku Ansari’s chest. Feku Mian was shot dead in front of his house. Tinku Mian was named in this murder case.
Terror of Feku Mian gang, murder of Pappu Khan
Feku had also broken into Mian’s gang. After which a Qureshi gang of Firoz also established its existence. It is said that the controversy regarding the book Kanna had deepened. On the other hand, Pappu Khan, who was in command of the Sallan gang, was murdered in Patna. Pappu Khan was riddled with bullets. Sallan Miyan gang later came to be known as Pappu Khan gang. The names of Riyajul Khan alias Rizla Mian and his henchmen came up in this murder case. Whereas the fire of revenge kept burning on the other side too and in Patna itself, a year after the murder of Pappu Khan, Riyajul Mian was also murdered in Lotus Apartment. The name of Pappu Khan gang had cropped up in this murder case. Rana Mian and Taj Mian, associated with Pappu Khan gang, still maintain their dominance in Habibpur area. On the other hand, Amjad Mian of Sallan gang has been carrying out criminal incidents in the city along with the henchmen of this gang.
Terror of Ajay Mishra gang also
After the murder of Feku Mian, known as Ustad, his elder son Tinku Mian took command of the gang. He has been operating the gang from Kolkata. The gang’s henchmen, including his younger brother, are still active in Bhagalpur. Tinku Mian is still in jail. But even after this he is running his gang. In recent times, the name of old gangster Ajay Mishra has come up in many criminal incidents in the city. Right now Ajay Mishra is in jail. His younger brother Kaju Mishra also operates the gang. Whereas Ajay Mishra’s elder brother Gudul Mishra was murdered a decade ago.
Even today the battle for supremacy between Feku Mian and Ansari gang
The war for supremacy continues in the city between Feku Mian and the Ansari gang. There was a war of supremacy between Feku Mian’s son Tinku Mian and Inayatullah Ansari gang leader Wasimullah Ansari alias Tinku Ansari. Recently, Wasimullah Ansari alias Tinku Ansari died suspiciously. The buzz in the news coming out of the world is that Amjad Mian can take over the command of this gang. The reason is that Amjad Mian has a good hold on the rural areas and urban areas. However, many names are emerging in the race to become the kingpin.
