Bareilly : There has been an outcry due to power cut in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. There was no electricity in more than a dozen localities of the city overnight. At the same time, in some areas, the supply is at a standstill even after more than 20 hours. The consumers here were trying to complain by calling the JE, employee and lineman of the local power sub-station. But his phone did not pick up. Due to which he went to the local sub-centre and complained. Along with this, a complaint was lodged with the officers and even on the helpline of MVVCL. But even after this the problem of power cut has not been solved. Due to this many people had to spend the night in hotels. Some people went to the homes of relatives and acquaintances in the city.

All the people of the colonies are walking on the streets of the city with their family members sitting in AC cars. Brandavan Garden Colony of Badaun Road, Subhash Nagar to Veer Bhatti, Kargena, Rahpura, Partapur, Haroongala, Jagatpur, Sunrise Exclave, old areas of the city did not get electricity overnight. Power supply in rural areas is also bad. Many villages of Nawabganj, Fatehganj West and Faridpur have not received electricity for 36 hours. Consumers are asking for help on social media regarding this.

People are getting angry due to power cut

The temperature from Bareilly city to the countryside is more than 40 degree Celsius. But, people are suffering due to lack of power supply. Due to this, anger has started increasing among the people against the electricity department.

Out of water, support of hand pump

Due to power cut, there was no supply of water from the Municipal Corporation. Along with this, the summersville installed in the houses also could not function. Due to this the water in the houses ran out. They have to bring water from the hand pumps installed in the locality and colonies, but due to lack of water, many people had to go to the office without taking a bath.
