Dhananjay Pandey, Muzaffarpur. 37,383 unemployed youth of Muzaffarpur district are registered on the National Career Scheme i.e. NCS portal. Of these, 12,415 youth have registered on the portal from April 2023 to February 2024 i.e. in 10 months. After this, 860 youth have got jobs in different sectors through the employment office of Labor Resources Department. In this, about 80 percent of the employment has taken place in private banking, finance, security and education sectors in Muzaffarpur and surrounding districts.
Job camp is organized every month
Every month two to three job camps are organized from the district headquarters to the block level. Only the registered youth get the opportunity in this. District Planning Officer Shweta Vashishtha said that unemployed youth are getting better career options on the NCS portal. This is the reason why awareness regarding this has increased in the last year. By contacting various companies, job camps are also being organized for the youth from time to time.
NCS portal: Unemployed youth can register for free
The registration process on NCS portal is completed free of cost. Youth who have passed Matriculation, Graduation, PG or technical education are registered. Its a normal process. Candidates can complete the registration process on their own from cyber café. Or you can register by visiting the Lower Regional Employment Exchange office located at Muzaffarpur Gannipur on any working day.
Private banking and finance companies as well as security agencies are now selecting employees for various posts through employment exchanges. Apart from this, with the cooperation of many companies of the automobile sector, the employment camp organized a job camp, in which a large number of youth got opportunities. With the help of the Employment Exchange, better opportunities are available in the private sector. NCS portal belongs to the Central Government. The employer also has to register on this.
At the same time, youth are registered as job seekers. In such a situation, the company is also giving offers by directly contacting the registered youth. Apart from the private sector, government sector and international companies have also been registered on the portal.
