Bokaro. The theft accused died on the spot on Thursday after jumping from the roof of Zilla Parishad office Camp 2. The deceased was identified as Vishwa Vijay (22 years), a resident of Basanti Mod slum of Harla police station area. BS City Inspector Sudama Kumar said that the accused along with one of his associates was engaged in stealing solar plates and ACs installed in the Zilla Parishad office. As soon as the guard posted in the office heard the sound of theft, he climbed onto the roof. One of the accused escaped by climbing down through the pipe. While Vishwa Vijay jumped down from the roof. While jumping, he fell on the cement chamber near the office and died on the spot. An FIR has been registered on the written complaint of the guard posted in the Zilla Parishad office. Cut wires of AC and solar plate have been recovered from the spot.
