Jharkhand News: In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday, 20 proposals were approved. Under this, it was agreed to give the status of agriculture to lac cultivation in the state. With this, the minimum support price of lacquer can be fixed. At the same time, the way for the appointment of 2000 posts has been cleared. Due to this the hope of the youth of the state has increased. Apart from this, consent was given to develop interstate bus stops in Ranchi and Jamshedpur on PPP mode. Expressing condolence on the untimely demise of the late Minister Jagarnath Mahato in this meeting, termed it as an irreparable loss.
Farmers will be encouraged by getting the status of agriculture
Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel said that about five lakh farmer families in 12 districts of the state including Khunti, Gumla, Singhbhum, Latehar, Garhwa, Hazaribagh districts will be benefited by getting Lah the status of agriculture. The farmers associated with lac cultivation get 25 percent of the total income from lac only.
The way has been cleared for the appointment of 2000 posts
At the same time, in the light of the order passed by the Supreme Court in Soni Kumari vs. K. Ravi Kumar and others and related matters, the cabinet approved the relaxation of the resolution of the Personnel Department. With this, the way has been cleared for the appointment of about 2000 posts of Lower Division Clerk, Panchayat Secretary, Stenographer etc. Now the recruitment process will be completed on the basis of the examination taken in the light of Jharkhand State Staff Selection Commission’s advertisement number 01/2017 and 02/2017.
Other decisions of the cabinet:
Apprentices who have completed one year training as Graduate and Technician Apprentices passed out from Engineering Colleges and Diploma Institutes of the state were approved to be engaged as Advanced Graduate Apprentices and Advanced Technician Apprentices for an additional year.
– Approval of expenditure of Rs. 2.45 crores at an estimated cost of Rs. 12.99 crores while topping up the Centrally Sponsored Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana from the state scheme – Paddy at minimum support price from farmers by State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Limited for procurement of paddy Approval for giving State Government guarantee on taking loan of 776.00 crores from BOI for purchase.
– Approval was given for the formation of Jharkhand State Medical Council Rules, 2023
– Approval on Management, Nomination and Examination Conduct Rules, 2023 of Nursing Institutes under Jharkhand State for all government and private nursing institutes of the state
Post-facto approval of Rs 5.32 crore for nominating M/s Alice Purple Advertising Pvt.
– Approval of amendment in Jharkhand Secretariat Service Rules
Approval to keep the punishment of withholding of two increments imposed on the then BDO of Hussainabad, Shekhar Kumar.
– Approval of formation of Jharkhand Private Security Agency Rules, 2023
– Administrative approval on draft corridor for preparation of integrated project of development on PPP model of inter-state bus stand in Ranchi and Jamshedpur.
– Agreed to declare Additional Director General of NCC Directorate, Bihar and Jharkhand as Head of Department State NCC Cell, Jharkhand for execution of all activities related to NCC in the state
Under the Chief Minister’s Critical Illness Treatment Scheme, Dhananjay Kumar Singh, a resident of East Singhbhum, was approved for providing more than the prescribed amount for the treatment of cancer.

Approval to increase monthly honorarium of legal researcher, research associate from existing Rs.30,000 to Rs.40,000 for cooperation of judges
– Consent to modify the name of Jharkhand State Coordination Committee member Vinod Kumar Pandey in place of Vinod Pandey and
– Approval was given to extend the period till 20.09.23 to the one-member judicial commission set up to solve the complex law and facts contained in the investigation report of irregularities in appointments and promotions in Jharkhand Legislative Assembly Secretariat.
