Police have said that the land in question is government land. Both parties have been given permission to use the government land only for the road.

Vicky had made serious allegations of forced religious conversion

This whole matter came to light two days ago, when Vicky Kumar, a resident of Muria village, had expressed his pain to Darbhanga District Magistrate Rajiv Roshan in the public court. Vicky has written in the application given to the District Magistrate that people of a particular community are pressurizing him to change his religion. People of a particular community are also harassing him and his family in different ways for refusing to change their religion. So that they leave their ancestral land and move away from here. Fed up with this torture, the entire family will convert to religion or will be forced to commit mass suicide.

The administration took immediate action

Vicky’s allegations started going viral on social media like wildfire. The administration took immediate action to prevent the communal atmosphere of the city from worsening. Darbhanga District Magistrate Rajiv Roshan immediately ordered an investigation into the entire matter after receiving the complaint. Also the District Magistrate and SDPO reached the spot together. Apart from both the parties, he also talked to the villagers and collected information. Investigation found that there was nothing related to religion. The whole matter is related to land dispute, which has also been resolved.

No one will encroach on government land

Darbhanga Sadar’s SDO Vikas Kumar, while talking to local journalists about this matter, said that a video is viral on social media that an attempt is being made to convert a Hindu family in Darbhanga. First of all we want to say that there is no need for any religious conversion here. This whole matter is about land dispute. There is a government land on which Vicky wants to open the windows of his house, but one party was stopping him. Both the parties have got their respective lands demarcated and have been asked to use the government land only for the road. Everyone has been instructed that no one will encroach on government land.
