The sting of dengue is not stopping in Bihar, 91 new patients found in Patna district, the figure crossed 8 thousand.

Patna. 91 new dengue patients were found in Patna district on Wednesday. With this the number of dengue patients in the district has increased to 8115. However, the number of dengue patients admitted in hospitals is decreasing, due to which beds in dengue wards are now becoming vacant. At present there are 53 recruitments in dengue wards of PMCH, IGIMS, NMCH and Patna AIIMS. Of these, maximum 17 dengue patients are admitted in AIIMS, 15 in IGIMS, 16 in NMCH and five in PMCH. Civil Surgeon Dr. Shravan Kumar said that now the number of dengue victims has started decreasing in the district. In the surrounding rural areas, an average of 20 to 25 patients were found every day, but now this number has come down to eight to 10. Most of the patients admitted have already chronic diseases.

Six new dengue patients found

Six new dengue patients were found in Bhagalpur city on Wednesday. Five patients were found in JLNMCH and one in Sadar Hospital after investigation. According to the Civil Surgeon Office, so far seven dengue patients have died in the district. At present, 10 serious dengue patients are being admitted and treated in the HDU of the Medicine Department. The total number of dengue patients has reached 1336.

The level of dengue infection has reduced in Munger district. Despite this, the process of finding patients suffering from dengue in ELISA test every day is continuing since the month of September. In which 2 new dengue patients were found in the district on Wednesday through ELISA test. After which the total number of dengue patients in the district has increased to 784. It was told that on Wednesday, 2 new patients were found in ELISA test. In which both the patients were admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Whereas not a single patient was discharged during this period. According to the data released by the Health Department, a total of 784 patients have been found infected with dengue in the district so far. Till Wednesday, a total of 32 patients are being treated in the dengue ward built in the pre-fabricated hospital. In which 4 patients have been found positive in ELISA test. While the remaining 28 patients are suffering from suspected symptoms of dengue. Meanwhile, even during Chhath festival, the district administration, municipal corporation and health department are indifferent towards continuous fogging and spraying of larvicide.

Four new dengue patients found in Kahalgaon

Dengue continues to wreak havoc in Kahalgaon urban and rural areas. New cases are being found every day. On Wednesday, out of 22 people tested for dengue in Kahalgaon Sub-Divisional Hospital, four people were found to be suffering from dengue. Dr. Anand Mohan, Deputy Superintendent in-charge of Dengue Sub-Divisional Hospital, said that out of 1674 people tested so far in the Sub-Divisional Hospital, 390 people have been found dengue positive. He said that dengue patients are also recovering fast.

11 dengue patients found in the district, number increased to 517

The number of dengue patients is increasing again in Muzaffarpur district. Now apart from urban areas, more cases are being received from rural areas also. The number of dengue patients in the district has increased to more than five hundred. During investigation in SKMCH on Wednesday, 11 new cases of dengue were confirmed. Both dengue and chikungunya have been found in two patients. District Vector Borne Disease Control Officer Dr. Satish Kumar has said that so far this year 517 dengue patients have been found in the district. Whereas, four patients have died due to dengue. He told that in the investigation report from the lab, 11 new dengue patients have been found in the district. Patients admitted for treatment in SKMCH and private hospitals are being monitored. Fogging is also being done around the houses of the patients.

Three people report dengue positive in the district, seven patients admitted

In Gaya district, reports of three people have come dengue positive in ELISA test. Dr NK Paswan, Deputy Superintendent of Magadh Medical Hospital, said that at present seven patients are undergoing treatment in the dengue ward of the hospital. This includes five confirmed dengue positive and two suspected patients. On Wednesday, 10 patients were discharged after recovery.

One new dengue patient found, total number reaches 589

A new dengue patient has also been identified in Begusarai district on Wednesday. Out of total 12 patients examined, one patient was found infected with dengue. In this way the total number of patients in the district increased from 588 to 589. On Wednesday also, anti-larva spraying was done in most of the wards by the Municipal Corporation for prevention and control of dengue. Fogging was done in the main road of the city. Anti-larva spraying and fogging is being provided on priority basis on the demand of citizens and councilors. Urban people were appealed to adopt other safety measures including wearing clothes covering the body and using mosquito nets and not allowing water to stagnate in places where water is stagnant.
