Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Rai, the initiator of Damodar Bachao Abhiyan, reached Shriram Lodge located at Jharia taxi stand on Saturday, where people welcomed him. Shri Rai met his supporters and took stock of the environmental condition and social and political conditions of Jharia.
Need of a clean leader in Dhanbad: Saryu Rai
During this, MLA Shri Rai said that there is a need for a clean leader in Dhanbad. The environmental situation in Koyalanchal has deteriorated. Corruption is responsible behind this. Damodar has been working on rescue since 2004. Today the condition of Damodar River has improved.
Had to come here on the request of the people of Dhanbad
He said that the political situation in Jamshedpur in 2019 is the same situation in Dhanbad today. I had to come here on the request of the people of Dhanbad. If the people of Dhanbad intend to support me with all their heart, mind and money, then I can consider contesting the elections.
BJP should reconsider its Lok Sabha candidate
Saryu Rai said that BJP should reconsider the selection of Lok Sabha candidate here, otherwise the people of Dhanbad will not forgive BJP in the future. He said that apart from BJP, I have also talked to leaders of other parties. Said that considering the situation in Dhanbad, all the parties should field clean candidates, only then a healthy society can be built and Dhanbad can be properly developed.

In response to a question, Mr. Rai said that I stand behind my supporters. If any kind of crisis arises for them, I am ready for them anywhere. He said that BJP used to talk about hunger, brotherhood and corruption. But today under this compulsion we are forced to give Lok Sabha tickets to the corrupt. There is a need to introspect on this.
