Criminal Elumalai paid only Rs 10,000 and settled 20 cases. Police have confiscated his Suzuki Access scooter.

Elumalai had accumulated violations over two years and was finally caught when police combed through a list of violators with more than 50 offences. Elumalai worked as a daily wage laborer and was not aware of the Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) cameras installed near his house. For this reason, he violated traffic rules many times.
