Bihar News: The incidents of cheating have increased in Bihar. Almost every day the news related to the cheating incident is coming to the fore. Meanwhile, in the Kadamkuan police station area of the capital Patna, miscreants have carried out the incident of cheating with the Mahant by making the card disappear from the ATM. Three lakh 10 thousand rupees have been withdrawn from Mahant’s account. The victim Mahant Jai Narayan has filed a complaint in this matter. Kadamkuan police has registered a case. After this, action is being taken in the matter.
Miscreants cheated by impersonating ATM card
The police is investigating the matter. Mahant Jaynarayan Das lives in Baba Bhikhandas Thakurbari located in Bakarganj of Kadamkuan police station area. According to the information, Mahant had given his Lekhpal an ATM card and sent him to withdraw money from the ATM. In this sequence, the card got stuck in the ATM of ICICI Bank located at Kadamkuan. Please inform that getting the card stuck in the ATM was also a conspiracy of the miscreants. Many such incidents are coming to the fore every day. In this sequence, the miscreants have cheated by trapping Mahant’s card. When the card was not issued, Lekhpal called the number of the guard in the ATM.
Withdrawal of three lakh 10 thousand rupees in 13 times
After this, the person who picked up the phone had asked to call the guard from Nala Road. The accountant did the same and he fell in the trap of the swindler. He could not find any guard in Nala Road. At the same time, on returning, he saw that the ATM card was missing. After this, three lakh 10 thousand rupees were withdrawn in 13 times. The police is investigating the matter. The miscreants are being searched on the basis of CCTV footage. Police is also taking information about the transaction.
Fraud by downloading app linked to bank account
On the other hand, before this, the driver of a person living in an apartment in New Pataliputra Colony of Shrikrishnapuri police station area in Patna has committed the incident of cheating. The driver had stolen ten lakh rupees from the bank account. Apart from this, he also ran away with jewelery worth eight lakh kept in the house. The victim lodged an FIR against the driver in the police station. Please tell that Bacha Rai hired Kundan of Rahimpur Jamdish village of Vaishali on a salary of eight thousand rupees to drive his car. After this the driver carried out the incident of cheating with the person. The accused was working here for ten years. After this he committed forgery with his boss. According to the information, the victim had undergone heart surgery. After this the doctors forbade him to talk on the phone. The victim’s phone used to remain with his driver. Accused Kundan had cheated by downloading an app linked to his owner’s bank account.
Increase in the network of cyber criminals
Apart from this, cyber miscreants had withdrawn Rs 39,000 from the credit card account of Sanjay Chaudhary, a resident of Khajpura of the airport police station. The network of cyber criminals is increasing in Bihar. Along with Patna, cases of cyber fraud are also coming out from Muzaffarpur, Madhubani, Motihari and Bettiah. According to the police, cyber criminals are committing crimes in an organized manner and technical experts are engaged in connecting the youth with the gang. They are giving greed to the youth to earn more money in less time. Because of this the youth are getting trapped in their trap. In most of the cases, 20 to 30 year old youths are becoming cyber criminals and cheating people.
According to the statistics of EOU, from February 2023 till now, more than one thousand cases have been registered in the cases of cybercrime. In these, 46 accused were also arrested. Out of the cases registered, in the cases of financial fraud, the amount of Rs 15 crore of the complainants was held in the account transferred by the criminals. Out of this, only one crore rupees could be returned to the victim. Let us inform that the cyber criminals of Bihar are not cheating only in their state. Rather, they are also targeting the people of other states. They are making people of other states like Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra and UP their victims.
