Allahabad High Court News: The Allahabad High Court of Uttar Pradesh has granted bail to a woman convicted ten years ago for killing a doctor and cutting off his private parts. In this case, the sessions court of Kanpur Dehat had sentenced the woman to life imprisonment in 2016. The guilty woman cut off the doctor’s private part and sent it to his wife.
An appeal was filed in the High Court against the decision of the Sessions Court by the convicted woman. When the appeal was pending, he had filed a bail application, on which the bench of Chief Justice Pritinkar Diwakar and Justice Nalin Kumar Srivastava, while hearing the bail application, has ordered to file two bails of Rs 50,000 each in the lower court.
This was the whole matter
Amraudha PHC Medical Officer in-charge of Kanpur Dehat Dr. Satish Chandra was brutally murdered on July 21, 2013 at Rahi tourist residence in Raniya. Dr. Satish Chandra had reached the hotel with a young woman. In the evening, his body was found lying in the hotel room and the girl was missing. The hotel workers informed the police about the murder. When the police reached the information and saw the dead body of Dr. Satish Chandra, his eyes were left torn. The killer had taken Dr. Satish Chandra’s private part with him.
Preeti was the main accused
Due to the brutal murder of Dr. Satish Chandra and the disappearance of the private part, this incident made a lot of headlines at that time. The police had also given their whole life in finding the murderer who had executed this incident and bringing him behind the bars. After this, the police arrested Preeti Lata of CTI Govind Nagar of Kanpur Nagar, who came with the doctor to the hotel, and sent her to jail.
After hearing in this case, on September 23, 2016, from the court of ADJ I, Preeti was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment. Preeti Lata is serving the sentence on the orders of the court. Presently Preeti Lata is serving sentence in Lucknow Jail.
Had sent private part to wife
During police interrogation, Preeti had told that she had killed Dr. Satish Chandra. After this, the doctor’s private part was cut with a surgical blade, packed in a box and sent by courier to his wife. As soon as the courier reached Satish Chandra’s wife, the police immediately took him into custody. As soon as the police opened the courier, they found a chopped private part in it. The police were also surprised to see this.
Preeti had written on the wall
After killing the doctor, Preeti wrote on the wall of the room with her own blood that “when man plays with nature, nature takes its own revenge”. On this, Preeti told that many serious allegations were made against Dr. Satish Chandra. It was alleged that the doctor used to have unnatural sex with her. He used to make him silent by showing fear of defaming him. When the doctor looked evilly at his sister, he could not tolerate it. Because of this, a conspiracy was hatched to kill him.
Preeti had said in her statements that she had called the doctor to Rahi Guest House on July 15, 2013. He gave the time of 21 July. She had already reached there. Dr. Chandra came after waiting for two and a half hours. He had put many pills in a bottle of liquor. When he became unconscious after drinking alcohol, the first thing the doctor did was staple his lip, but it could not be done properly.
Then the doctor’s hands and legs were tied and a tape was pasted on his mouth. After this, the throat was cut with a sharp knife and then the private parts were cut. For this he used Dr. Chandra’s scissor blade. After committing the murder, she kept her private parts in plastic, opened the back door and came to Kanpur.
