Sagar Sharma, one of the two boys who created a ruckus by jumping inside the visitors’ gallery during the Lok Sabha proceedings in the country’s Parliament and sprayed spray inside the House and carried out a smoke attack, is a resident of Ramnagar in Alambagh, Lucknow, the capital of UP. His family has been living in this area for 15 years. Sagar Sharma was living in house number 555 Ch-149 with his father Roshan Lal Sharma, mother Rani and younger sister Mahi. This is Banshidhar’s house. He had left from here three days ago i.e. on 11th December after telling his mother Reena Sharma that he had some work in Delhi. He drives an e-rickshaw in Lucknow. As soon as they came to know about this act of Sagar, Lucknow Police also became active. Police teams from East and West zones reached his house by 5.00 pm. Sagar’s parents said that they did not know anything about this incident. Now they have come to know about this only from media and police. Father Roshan Lal Sharma and mother Rani said that their son is of very calm nature. They don’t know anything about how he did this. Rani said that Sagar drives an e-rickshaw. They have been living here on rent for 15 years. Two days ago I had gone to Delhi with friends saying that I was going for work. Had also talked to him on mobile on Tuesday. Father Roshan told that he is a carpenter. Basically they are residents of Purva of Unnao. He told that none of his son’s friends living in the locality had gone with him. Sagar’s grandmother also lives with her son in the rear part of this complex. Nani said that she did not know why he did this.
Sagar had returned home from Bangalore on Rakshabandhan – sister
Sagar’s sister Mahi, who was studying in high school, told that Sagar had gone to Bangalore with a friend two years ago. He stayed there for some time. Then returned here on the last Rakshabandhan. After this he started driving e-rickshaw. The family members could not tell anything about with whom he had gone to Bangalore. Apart from this, uncle Pradeep says that Sagar was of very calm nature. In practice he was very good. He is very simple, never used to fight. Don’t know how he reached the Parliament, can’t understand it. He says that someone has framed Sagar. He has taken such a step under someone’s influence. Meanwhile, DCP East Ashish Srivastava said that a lot of information is being collected about Sagar. His house falls in Manak Nagar police station area. Because of this, the West Zone police is also investigating.
Sagar’s friends are surprised by his actions
After this incident, Ramnagar Mohalla suddenly came into limelight. Apart from the OV vans of news channels, vehicles of police officers started reaching there in the evening. Everyone was surprised to see so much activity. After some time everyone came to know what had happened. Most people did not know Sagar, who lived in a small house on rent for 15 years. But now his name was on everyone’s lips in the locality. Ajay Verma, who drove an e-rickshaw with him for a few days, said that he used to meet often. Had met him even before going to Delhi. It never seemed from his words what was going on in his mind. A close associate said that Sagar was highly knowledgeable and knew everything about politics. “We met during a protest organized by the student wing of a group and I was amazed by his knowledge, although he had studied only till class 12,” said a close associate, who did not wish to be named.
The same colleague further said that he was very active in political movements and I used to see him in every protest in the city. He further said that later he also joined a local political party in Lucknow and was seen posting pictures with them. The person further said that however, I did not know that he would do this because it is shocking even for me. Meanwhile, Station House Officer of Manak Nagar police station Shiv Mangal Singh said that the family members have denied having any knowledge about Sagar’s involvement in the Lok Sabha incident. We are trying to collect preliminary information from them.
A total of 6 people were involved in the conspiracy, 2 are still absconding

Sagar’s parents had clearly said that they did not know anything about this. Friends said that Sagar, who was studying up to Intermediate, got misled by someone. The investigation has revealed that a total of 6 people were involved in this conspiracy. Two people created a ruckus inside and two created a ruckus outside. 2 people are absconding in this case. The names of the two accused youths who broke the security of the Parliament House are Sagar and Manoranjan.
Along with them, Neelam and Amol Shinde protested outside the Parliament. According to media reports, Sagar Sharma had come to the visitors gallery as the guest of BJP MP from Mysore Pratap Simha. BJP MP Khagen Murmu was presenting his views in the Lok Sabha. Then Sagar and Manoranjan started jumping on the bench of the house. Both of them had hidden some spray in their shoes. Took it out and sprayed it, due to which yellow smoke started spreading in the house. Due to which there was an atmosphere of chaos in the entire house. After this the MPs caught both of them. Congress MP Gurjit Singh Aujla told that I caught him first. Some even beat both of them. After this he was handed over to the security personnel. Seeing this, the Speaker adjourned the proceedings of the House till 2 pm.
