Bagaha of Bihar Two bike riders and four wheelers were passing ahead of Dhobaha on the Madanpur-Valmikinagar State Highway road on Friday night. In this sequence, suddenly two leopards appeared in front. Due to the time of night, the bike rider had reached very close to the leopard. But, as soon as he saw it, he stopped his car. Due to the night time, the leopard stood on the side of the road for about three minutes due to the bright lights of the vehicles. Then turned and entered the dense forests. The person driving the four wheeler stopped his vehicle and started making a video of the leopard.
The bike riders stopped just about ten meters away from the leopard and immediately turned their vehicle and returned out of fear. Rakesh Jaiswal, Sudhir Gupta, Anish Tiwari, Naveen Pandey, residents of Bagaha told that many times they have gone on safari in the jungle. But the tiger was never seen during the safari. But while coming by car, the leopard was definitely seen in the night. For the first time in life, a leopard was seen from the front. Earlier we had seen it in Chidiya Ghar. But it was also nice to see the leopard in the open. Along with this, I also felt a little scared.
Wildlife is often seen on the roads
Conservator of Forest cum Field Director of Valmiki Tiger Reserve Dr. Neshamani K. Told that there are numbers of tiger and leopard in VTR, that’s why they are visible. According to the figures, the total number of tigers in VTR is being told as 54. Their number is increasing every year. CF told that the roar of tigers has started being heard in the forest of VTR. Wild animals like tiger, leopard, deer, peacock, bear etc. have started appearing somewhere on every road passing through the forests. Recently, the number of tigers was announced on the occasion of Tiger Day on 29th July. However, on July 30, a tiger was rescued and sent out for treatment. On the basis of increasing number, VTR has been kept in the category of Very Good.
