Bhagalpur. The doors of temples and pandals were opened at various places in the city at midnight with the praises of Maa Kali. With the opening of Maa’s shrine at all places, crowds of devotees gathered for darshan. Thousands of devotees visited the idol of Maa Kali installed in the pandal and offered Mahaprasad and prayed for happiness, peace and prosperity. As soon as the doors of Maa Kali opened, people started gathering at midnight for worship. There was continuous flow of devotees in the puja pandal. In Bhagalpur city alone, the idol of Maa Kali has been installed and worshiped at more than 108 places. 17 statues have been installed in the eastern area of the city, 18 in the western area, 18 in the southern area and 26 in the northern area. Apart from this, about 43 statues have been installed in Nathnagar area. Similarly, Maa Kali has been established at dozens of places in Sabour area also.

President of Parbatti Kali Puja Committee, Jyotish Mandal told that this year the construction work of pandal and idol had been done in Parbatti before time. A fair will be held in Parbatti on 13th and 14th November. Councilor Ranjit Mandal told that a cultural event will be organized here during this period. A statue has also been installed in Chunihari Tola by the Family-Society Committee. Bhajan-kirtan will be organized on 13th November. Pandit Chandramohan Jha will conduct the puja. Pramod Kumar, Vicky Yadav, Dimma Yadav, Vishnu Sharma etc. are engaged in worship.
17 feet statue of Bamkali installed
Bamkali Puja Committee official Abhay Ghosh Sonu said that an 11 feet statue has been made at Bamkali place near Budhanath temple. After decoration it has become 17 feet tall. It has been established with complete legal guidelines. There will be a Bhandara here on 13th November. Mashani Kali puja was performed near Budhanath temple. Tunni bulb has been decorated in a grand manner in the Kali temple near Adampur Chowk. A grand archway has been decorated near Kotwali Chowk for Mandroja Hasbadiya Kali Puja.
Bagulamukhi temple will have bhandara and bhajan evening
The statue has been installed in Shri Shri 108 Kali Tara Bala Baglamukhi Temple located at Laluchak Gumti No. 12. The temple complex has been decorated with colorful lights. Temple administrator Rajkumar Singh told that there will be a Bhandara on 13th November. Bhajan evening will also be organized in the evening. There is a tradition of worship here for 50 years. Murtajachak Kali Puja Committee has been conducting the puja for 100 years. The puja has been performed under the guidance of Pandit Rameshchandra Jha.

According to the information received from Sultanganj, grand statues have been constructed for Kali Puja in Maheshi, Abjuganj, Kolgama, Shahabad, Dudhaila, Udhadih, Mirhatti, Old Durga Sthan, New Durga Sthan, Jahangira, Ganganiya, Sitarampur and Masadi of the block. Late on Sunday night, the idol of the mother was worshiped and installed as per the rituals. There will be a huge crowd of devotees on Monday and Tuesday.

The idol of Maa Kali brings a celebration to the residents of Diyarbakari. Devotees come from far and wide to see the black idol of Shahabad, Dudhaila and Baikatpur of Sultanganj. Guests arrive in every house. People from many districts come here. Villagers told that after the erosion of Ganga, the black statue established in Dudhaila Diara of Narayanpur block since 1902 was brought to Sultanganj in the year 1984. A large number of devotees come from far and wide to have darshan of the Mother Goddess and make offerings after fulfilling their vows.
