Gorakhpur News: The body of 17-year-old Raju, resident of Basantpur village of Pipraich police station area of ​​Gorakhpur, was found in Kushinagar area after nine days. His body was thrown in the bushes. While his head was lying at some distance. 90 percent of the body was eaten by insects. Only the jaw was left in the head. On hearing about the discovery of the dead body, family members and people of the village joined in. People blocked the road by placing the dead body on Pipraich-Hata road and started raising slogans against the police administration. On information, forces from several police stations including SP North Manoj Kumar Awasthi and Area Officer Yogesh Singh reached the spot. At present, the police pacified the angry people and got the jam removed. According to the police, Raju had left the house on November 18. His mother Madhuri Devi told that the family members saw her going on a bicycle with the son of Arjun Nishad of the same village. Arjun’s son returned late in the evening. But, Raju did not return home. After this, we searched for him a lot and when we called on his mobile, his mobile was switched off. After this we inquired about him from relatives. But, nothing was found of him. When Arjun Nishad’s son was also questioned about Raju, he started evasive. After this, being upset, the family members of the deceased filed a case of kidnapping in Pipraich police station.

Raju’s family had informed the police on the same day that they feared something untoward might happen to their son. But, the police did not take it seriously. According to the police, on Sunday afternoon some people saw the decapitated body of a youth in Barwa Babu village of Kushinagar. The dead body was lying in the bushes. Up to 90 percent of the body was eaten away by insects. There was a foul smell coming from the dead body, after which the villagers informed the police. Police reached the spot and started investigation. His mobile phone and Rs 520 cash were recovered from the youth’s pocket. Within no time this news spread like wildfire in the area. On getting the information, the family members of deceased Raju also reached the spot and identified the body, after which the body was identified as that of Raju.

After this, when the police tried to take possession of the body and send it for post-mortem, the family and villagers got angry. They did not allow the police to take away the body and placed it on the road and blocked it. After the police officers reached the spot, after a lot of persuasion, the family members removed the jam.
