Engine Specifications of Maruti Suzuki Celerio

Maruti Suzuki Celerio has a 1.0-litre petrol engine, which generates power of 67 PS and torque of 89 Nm. Along with the engine, it has been given 5-speed manual (standard) and 5-speed AMT optional. Along with the engine, it also gets segment first automatic idle start-stop feature. At the same time, the power output of Celerio CNG is 56.7 PS at 82 Nm, which is 7 Nm less than the regular petrol version at 8.5 PS. It has a 5-speed manual gearbox with the engine. Its fuel tank capacity is 60 litres.

Now if we talk about the mileage of Maruti Suzuki Celerio, then its VXI, LXI and ZXI petrol MT vehicles give a mileage of up to 25.24 kmpl. Apart from this, the petrol MT car of ZXI Plus gives a mileage of about 24.97 km per liter, the petrol AMT car of VXI variant gives a mileage of about 26.68 km per liter, the petrol AMT car of ZXI and ZXI Plus variants gives a mileage of about 26 km per liter. Along with this, the car with CNG engine in VXI variant promises a mileage of around 35.6 kilometers per kilogram.

The five-seater Maruti Suzuki Celerio car comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, engine start and stop button, passive keyless entry, steering wheel mounted audio controls, semi-digital instrument cluster with Wagon R and electric with turn indicators. Features like ORVM have been provided. Apart from this, for the safety of the passengers, it has been provided with features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist (only in automatic variants) and rear parking sensors. In the Indian car market, Maruti Suzuki Celerio competes with Tata Tiago, Maruti Wagon R and Citroen C3.
