Thanks Modi ji! Played out after a meeting of PM Narendra Modi, 8 former Indian marines come out of jail

The people of the country got a big news on Monday morning. Actually, eight former Indian marines lodged in a jail in Qatar have been released. Seven of these have returned to India. Information in this regard was given by the Ministry of External Affairs, after which there was a wave of happiness in the entire country. People are calling this a big victory of Modi government. The Ministry of External Affairs said that the Government of India welcomes the release of eight Indian citizens working for Dahra Global Company detained in Qatar. The ministry further said that out of the eight Indians released, seven have returned to India. We appreciate the decision of the Emir of Qatar to release these citizens and return them home.

Talking about the Emir of Qatar, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had met him a few days ago. The Indian government swung into action after former Indian marines were given death sentence in Qatar. India had objected to the death sentence imposed by the Qatar court. Not only this, every possible help was also announced to the former Indian marines. Meanwhile, in early December last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had met Qatar’s ruler Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, after which good news started coming. First came the news of moratorium on the death sentence of former Indian marines in Qatar and now came the news of the release of 8 former Indian marines. That means one meeting of PM Modi changed the whole game.

After reaching India, former marine said – Thanks Modi government

One of the former Indian Navy personnel who returned from Qatar expressed happiness on returning home. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi intervened due to which we are able to see this day today. It is because of him that we have been able to return to India today. This has been possible due to the continuous efforts of the Government of India. While another said that we waited for about 18 months to come back to India. We are extremely grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This could happen only because of his personal intervention. We are wholeheartedly grateful for every effort made by the Government of India.

A big victory for Modi government

Let us discuss here that eight former Navy personnel were arrested in August 2022 on charges of espionage. After this, a Qatari court sentenced him to death. The people of the country were disappointed after this news but the hard work of the Modi government paid off and everyone was released from the jail in Qatar. This is a big victory for India and Modi government.
