Maharashtra: In the Thane runover case, the SIT of police has arrested the main accused Ashwajit Gaikwad and his two associates Romil Patil and Sagar Shedge. The vehicle used in the crime was also seized.
An attempt was made to crush Instagram influencer Priya Singh with a car.
According to the police, the incident of Instagram influencer Priya Singh being crushed by a car took place at 4.30 am on December 11 near a hotel on Ghodbunder Marg. When Priya Singh had gone to meet her lover Ashvajit Gaikwad. According to the police, there was an altercation between the two and Priya Singh started taking her luggage from the car, meanwhile the person driving the car tried to crush her, due to which she fell and got seriously injured. It is known that Ashwajit Gaikwad is the son of the MD of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC).

SIT is investigating Priya Singh case
A special investigation team has been formed to investigate the attempt to crush girlfriend Priya Singh in Thane, Maharashtra. The police officer said that the girl got injured in this attempt to crush her, whose treatment is going on. Thane Police Commissioner Jaijit Singh said that a case has been registered against the accused Ashwajit Gaikwad and his two associates under various relevant provisions including sections 323 (intentionally causing hurt) and 279 (negligent driving) of the Indian Penal Code.
Priya Singh expressed her pain on Instagram
Victim Priya Singh expressed her pain on her Instagram page. He told that his right leg was broken and after surgery a rod had to be fitted in his leg. Priya told that she will have to stay in bed for about 3 to 4 months. While sharing Jott’s pictures, Priya told about the entire incident that happened with her. Priya told that her boyfriend Ashvajeet Gaikwad slapped her and tried to strangle her neck. Priya told, when I tried to push him away, he bit my hand, beat me, pulled my hair. His friend suddenly pushed me on the ground.
