Maxpaul Franklin, a resident of Asheville, North Carolina, USA, wrote on his social media account that on April 2, 2024, he found himself struggling with dehydration and a blood sugar level of 670 due to a malfunction in his insulin pump. While in critical condition, he activated the Full Self-Driving (FSD) of the Tesla Model Y electric SUV with just a double click on the steering column stock. The electric vehicle easily completed the 21 kilometer journey from Franklin’s home to the hospital, it is reported that the car even automatically parked itself at the hospital premises using FSD. Interestingly, this incident happened just the next day when the electric car giant unlocked the FSD capability for all Tesla vehicles in the US.
