The story of the film is about Aryan (Shahid Kapoor), who is an aspiring robotic engineer. He is so focused on his work that he even dreams of marrying a robot. It’s not that he doesn’t want to get married, but his wishlist for his wife is very long.
Meanwhile, his aunt (Dimple Kapadia) calls him to America to show him her robotic world. In America he meets Sifra (Kriti Sanon). Ultimately Aryan decides that he will marry Sifra only.

Directed by debutant directors Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film has a duration of 143.15 minutes or 2 hours, 23 minutes and 15 seconds. It has been awarded a U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
Shahid Kapoor has charged around Rs 23-24 crore for Teri Baton Mein Aisa Tuljha Jiya. He has received the most money among other stars. The female lead of the film i.e. Kriti Sanon has reportedly taken a fee of Rs 4-5 crore for the role of robot.
Shahid and Kriti’s film will be released on Amazon Prime Video after its release in theatres. However, no official announcement has been made yet nor has anything been said from the makers.
