Tejashwi Yadav Security: Patna. Amidst the hustle and bustle of Lok Sabha elections, the security of Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav has been increased. Along with this, it has also been decided to increase the security of BJP leader and former Deputy CM Tarkishore Prasad. Both the leaders will be provided Y Plus category security. The Home Department has issued an order in this regard to the DGP and directed to provide security. Before this, the security of Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Jha and MLA Anil Kumar has been increased.
Home Department wrote a letter to the police headquarters
The Home Department has ordered the Director General of Police of Bihar to provide security to both the former Deputy Chief Ministers. It has been said in the order that the state government has taken this decision in view of the tours taking place during the Lok Sabha elections and on the basis of the assessment report received. It is said that there are about a dozen security personnel under this, including many commandos. It is noteworthy that Tejashwi Yadav has also started the election campaign from Purnia on Wednesday.

The government had reduced Tejashwi’s security
When Tejashwi Yadav was the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, he was given Z Plus security. As soon as he left the post, the security was removed on January 31 and Tejashwi Yadav also got the same security which is given to the ministers. Now Nitish government has provided them Y Plus security. At the same time, it was decided to give Y category security to Tar Kishore Prasad during the Agneepath movement in July 2023, but later it was withdrawn. Right now he enjoys the security given to MLAs. Now they too will be under Y Plus security.
