Tejashwi Yadav wrote on social site X that he received the sad news of the demise of former UP MLA Mukhtar Ansari. We pray to God to grant peace to the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss. Tejashwi said that a few days ago Mukhtar Ansari had complained that he had been poisoned in jail, yet this matter was not taken seriously. Prima facie this does not seem justifiable and humane. Constitutional institutions should take suo motu cognizance of such strange cases and incidents.
Pappu Yadav made a controversial post
Whereas Congress leader Pappu Yadav made a controversial comment on this matter and wrote that the institutional murder of former MLA Mukhtar Ansari is like burying the law, constitution and natural justice. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court should take suo motu cognizance of this matter. There should be an impartial investigation under his guidance. Pappu Yadav wrote to Aag that he had been making allegations for many days that he was being given slow poison, his MP brother had also made this allegation. Mukhtar Ansari died due to heart attack
Regarding the death of Mukhtar Ansari, Principal of Banda Medical College, Sunil Kaushal said that Ansari died due to a heart attack in the medical college. Earlier, Principal Secretary Information Sanjay Prasad had confirmed that Ansari was again admitted to the hospital due to ill health. After the death of Mukhtar Ansari, prohibitory order has been imposed under Section 144.
