Education department is going to ask for vacancies from BPSC

Actually, the Education Department may soon seek information about the remaining vacancies from Bihar Public Service Commission. Only after getting this information will it be possible to decide how many teachers are to be recruited in which subject. However, it is certain that in the teacher recruitment that will start soon, most of the appointments will be related to secondary and higher secondary schools. The process of requisition for the next phase of appointment will also start soon. The process of advertisement for this is likely to start in November.

One lakh ten thousand vacancies possible

According to information received from sources, only 49,905 candidates have been selected out of total 90,804 vacancies for secondary and higher secondary schools. In this way 40,899 posts are still vacant. If we add to this the recently created 37,710 posts for Plus Two schools, the total number of possible vacancies will be 78,609. At the same time, the total number of vacancies for classes six to eight is 31,982. If we add all these together then approximately one lakh ten thousand vacancies are possible, on which appointments are to be made in the next phase.

There may be delay in requisition due to roster clearance

Recently, an informal meeting was also held between the Education Department and Bihar Public Service Commission regarding the appointments to be made in the next phase. The department has also done roster clearance for more than 69 thousand posts regarding appointment. But, roster clearance will have to be done once again for the posts left vacant in the first phase of recruitment. For this reason it may take time to send the requisition. At present it is certain that in the next phase of teacher planning, once again the number of teachers in Plus Two schools will be more.
