Tejashwi Yadav gets relief from Delhi Court in Land for Job case, permission to travel abroad

Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav has got a big relief in the Land for Job case. Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has accepted his petition to go on a foreign tour. After which now Tejashwi Yadav will be able to visit Australia and New Zealand from 6 to 18 January next year. Earlier, ED has sent a summon to Tejashwi Yadav to appear on January 5 next year. He was called on December 22 but Tejashwi Yadav did not arrive for questioning, after which summons have been issued once again.

Tejashwi Yadav had filed the petition

Actually, three days ago a hearing was held on the supplementary charge sheet of CBI in Rouse Avenue Court. During this time, Tejashwi Yadav had sought permission from the court to travel to Australia and New Zealand from January 6 to 18 next year. He had filed a petition for this. In which he had demanded issuance of passport. This petition was heard in the court on Saturday and he has been allowed to travel abroad. After which now Tejashwi will be on a foreign trip from January 6.

Tejashwi did not appear before ED on 22 December

Earlier, Tejashwi Yadav did not appear before the ED on 22 December. On Friday, ED had summoned him to come to the office of the Enforcement Office in New Delhi and record his statement in the case of job in exchange for land in Railways. But, Tejashwi remained in Patna on Friday. A day earlier he had said that he has been cooperating with the investigating agencies including ED. Regarding ED’s summons, it was said that it is election time. This will continue. In this case, ED has once again issued summons.

Even in October, Tejashwi had asked for permission to go abroad

Tejashwi Yadav had also filed a petition in the CBI court in the month of October to release the passport. Accepting this, the court gave him permission to go abroad. After which Tejashwi went to Japan to participate in Tourism Expo 2023. Where he did branding of tourist places.

According to ED sources, a company named AK Infosystem purchased land on a large scale. Those who sold land to this company also included those whose family members were given jobs in the Railways when Lalu Prasad Yadav was the Railway Minister. According to the investigation of ED and CBI, this company had gifted a car to Tejashwi Yadav in 2010. Later, for just one lakh rupees, he transferred all the shares of his company AK Infosystem to Rabri Devi and Tejashwi Yadav.
