Patna. Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has taken cognizance of the fatal attack on the executive officer of Nagar Panchayat of Dobhi. Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav called Patna SSP Rajeev Mishra and asked to take strictest action. While talking to the media in Patna on Thursday, Tejashwi Yadav said that the case of beating of the officer had come to light yesterday. After the matter came to his notice, he himself called the SSP of Patna and talked to him.
You people don’t know Tejashwi Yadav
Tejashwi Yadav told the journalists that you people do not know Tejashwi Yadav. Tejashwi Yadav said that the person who killed the executive engineer was a relative of Lalu family, when we came to know about this, we ourselves called to investigate the matter and asked to take strict action. We ourselves called to SSP. Have said that action should be taken on this. Tejashwi Yadav said that as soon as I got this news, I told the SSP that strictest action should be taken in this matter, whoever is guilty should be punished. Tejashwi Yadav told the SSP that whether it is from our family or any relative, action will be taken against anyone who commits a mistake. Be it brother or nephew, no one will be spared.
The youth who stopped the car was drunk
The incident took place on the night of 16 January. When Arvind Kumar Singh, executive officer of Nagar Panchayat of Dobhi, was going from Gola Road in Patna to his house on Boring Road. At around 9.30 in the night, some intoxicated youth stopped his Scorpio car in Gola Road. Arvind Kumar Singh’s brother Vijay Singh was also traveling in the same car. Vijay Singh told that the youth who stopped the car was intoxicated. Arvind Kumar Singh came down to talk to him and then the miscreants attacked him, due to which he was badly injured.
I am the grandson of Lalu Yadav
Vijay Singh told that one of the attackers was calling his name as Tanuj Yadav. He was repeatedly saying – My name is Tanuj Yadav, I am the son of Nagendra Yadav, Lalu Yadav is my father. Whatever has to be uprooted, uproot it. Tanuj Yadav attacked Dobhi Nagar Panchayat executive officer Arvind Kumar with a rod. He was trying to snatch the keys of his car. Tanuj Yadav and his associates also tried to loot money. In this sequence, Arvind Kumar Singh was brutally beaten.
No FIR registered yet
Tanuj Yadav and his friends together beat Arvind Kumar Singh to such an extent that he suffered serious injuries on his head and eyes. Tanuj Yadav and his associates left leaving Arvind Kumar Singh soaked in blood on the road. Later he was admitted to a private hospital located in Raja Bazar, Patna for treatment. Due to his condition becoming more serious there, he was referred to Delhi. The family members have left for Delhi with him. The family members have told that they have informed the police about the matter. Till now no information has been received about registration of any FIR.
