Tejashwi Yadav angry over cancellation of teachers leave

Bihar Education Department has canceled the leaves of teachers of government schools of the state. During Holi, the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has decided to give special training to 20 thousand teachers from 25 to 30 March. Due to which political turmoil has started in Bihar. Now former Deputy CM and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav has attacked the state government on this issue. He has also sought intervention from CM Nitish Kumar in this matter.

Actually, Tejashwi Yadav has posted a post on social media site X. Through this post he has said that as per the orders of NDA’s Bihar government, teachers have to remain present even on the day of Holi. It has never happened before in Bihar that on the day of Holikotsav or Holi holiday, when the entire state is celebrating Holi, teachers will stay away from their families. CM should intervene in this matter.

Order for training of teachers from March 25

Actually, according to the letter issued by SCERT, government teachers will receive training in various training institutes from March 25. During this time, it is also Holi, which means teachers will have to undergo training on the day of Holi also. In this regard, orders have been issued to the principals of all CTE, DIET, PTEC and BITE institutes. There is anger among teachers and teachers union regarding this order of the department.

Bihar State Primary Teachers Association has also opposed the decision of the Education Department to conduct special training during the Holi vacation. He has written a letter to Additional Chief Secretary and SCERT Director Sajjan R demanding to change the training work on Holi to another day. He said that Holi is a big festival. It is not appropriate to organize training of teachers on the day of Holi. He said that if the education department does not withdraw its decision, then no teacher will go for training.
