Tax increased from Rs 5 to 20 in Jharkhand’s toll plazas

Ranchi: The Union Ministry of Roads, Transport and Highways has increased the toll tax on national highways. This will come into effect from April 1st. Now drivers will have to pay more tax at the toll plaza. The toll plazas located in the state have been increased by Rs 5 to Rs 20. At the same time, in many toll plazas for one-way, tax on small vehicles has not been increased, but on return on the same day, it has been increased by Rs 5.

Tax has been increased in Pundag toll plaza located on Ranchi-Ramgarh road, plaza located before Palma on Ranchi-Bedo road, first toll plaza of Bijupada on NH-75, Bundu toll plaza and other plazas. At Pundag toll plaza, you will have to pay Rs 125 (old rate) for cars, jeeps, vans and other light vehicles. At the same time, for the return trip it will cost Rs 190 instead of Rs 185. Similarly, the fare for light commercial vehicles will be Rs 205 instead of Rs 200 for a single trip and Rs 305 instead of Rs 300 for a return trip within 24 hours.

Two axle buses and trucks will be charged Rs 425 instead of Rs 415 for one trip and Rs 640 instead of Rs 625 for return trip. Three axle commercial vehicles will be charged Rs 465 instead of Rs 455 for one trip and Rs 700 instead of Rs 680 for return trip. Have to pay. Similarly, for one trip from six axle vehicles related to construction work, Rs. 670 instead of Rs. 655 and Rs. 1005 instead of Rs. 980 for return trip and Rs. 815 instead of Rs. 795 for one trip from seven and more axle vehicles and Rs. 1190 for return trip. Rs 1220 will be taken instead.

Bundu Toll Plaza:

Tax is being increased by three to five percent at Bundu toll plaza located on Ranchi-Tata road (NH-33). Toll Plaza Manager Nitin Bhardwaj said that 3% more tax will be levied on small vehicles and 5% more tax on large vehicles.
