Tata Sierra EV and Renault Duster EV : In the Indian car market, two iconic cars of Tata Motors and French car manufacturer Renault are going to make a comeback in a new avatar soon. These two iconic cars were very popular in India about 10 years ago. Now Tata Motors and Renault are going to bring both these cars in a new avatar. Tata Motors and Renault are preparing to introduce Sierra and Duster in electric avatar. However, both these cars have also been displayed in the 2023 auto show.
How will Tata Sierra EV be in electric avatar?
Tata Motors can launch Sierra EV car in the year 2025. It will be built on the company’s Generation 2 Sigma architecture. Its length will be about 4.3 meters. The electric variant of Sierra, which is coming to further strengthen the position of Tata Motors in the midsize SUV segment, will be equipped with dual motor and will have all wheel drive. It will have a powerful battery, whose single charge range will be up to 500 kilometers. The new Tata Sierra will be quite awesome in looks and features.
What will be the price of Tata Sierra EV?
Tata Sierra will be offered in 4-seater and 5-seater options. It can be launched in India by December 2025. Its price can start from Rs 25 lakh in ex-showroom India. Tata’s Ziptron powertrain can be given in Sierra EV. The company has stated the driving range of this vehicle as 400 kilometers. This upcoming car has features like connected LED headlamps and tail lamps, black cladding on the lower part and dual-tone alloy wheels. For passenger safety, it can be provided with multiple airbags, ABS along with EBD and ADAS technology. At present, Tata Sierra EV does not compete with any car in the market.
Renault Duster EV will be equipped with amazing features
French car manufacturer Renault has launched the third generation Duster in the global market. It is believed that it can also be introduced in the Indian market next year. The new generation model of Duster will see major changes in terms of look-design and features as well as power. The new Duster, which is coming to create a stir in the midsize SUV segment, will be developed on the CMF-B platform. Its length will be 4.34 meters. Its ground clearance will range from 209 mm to 217 mm. The new Duster will be available in both 4X2 and 4X4 versions. Along with hybrid powertrain, the new Duster will be equipped with other latest features including Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS).
Features of Renault Duster EV
The third generation Renault Duster is the sharpest looking SUV ever with significant changes all around. Some of the key highlights include the front and rear coming with Y-shaped light elements. It has full-wide grille, headlamps and DRL. Apart from this, the other attractive design element is the Duster logo in the centre.
