However, the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) variant of Tata Punch can also be launched in the market during 2025 with a midlife update. Design of Punch Facelift

Tata Motors’ upcoming Tata Punch facelift has been spotted during testing. Based on its spy shots, it is being speculated that its exterior design has been taken from Tata Punch EV. Apart from this, like the Punch EV, it is also expected to get a new grille, LED DRL and re-designed headlight housing. However, no changes have been made in the profile of the micro SUV. There is a possibility that alloy wheels can be updated in it. The taillight installed at its rear looks similar to the current model of Punch, but minor changes are expected to be made in the rear bumper.

Interior and features of Tata Punch Facelift

Apart from this, if we talk about the interior of the upcoming Tata Punch facelift car of Ratan Tata’s vehicle manufacturing company Tata Motors, it is not yet clear from the spy shots what kind of interior it will be. Still, the possibility is being expressed that its interior can also be updated on the lines of Tata Punch EV. As far as its features are concerned, it is being told that it can be provided with a 10.25-inch large touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital driver display and ventilated front seats with sunroof and cruise control. . Along with this, the safety of the passengers will be further enhanced with six airbags, electronic stability control and a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring. Currently, the current Punch only comes with dual front airbags and a rear parking camera.

No changes expected in the powertrain of Punch Facelift

After seeing the spy shots, it is also being estimated that no changes are expected in the powertrain i.e. engine of the upcoming Tata Punch facelift car. The engine of the existing Tata Punch can also be given in this new car of Tata Motors. The regular Punch has a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, which is capable of generating maximum power of 88 PS and peak torque of 115 Nm. This unit can come with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT (automatic) transmission.

Price and competition of Tata Punch Facelift

After seeing the spy shots, it is being estimated that the ex-showroom price of Ratan Tata’s Tata Motors’ upcoming Punch facelift car may start from Rs 6 lakh. Along with this, after coming in the market, it can compete with Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Citroen C3, Maruti Ignis, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger after coming into the market.
