Dr. Nilesh Kumar, PG student of Patna AIIMS, died under suspicious circumstances. After getting information about this incident, the entire staff of AIIMS Hospital is shocked. According to the information, the matter came to light when Nilesh did not reach his night shift on Friday. After this, his colleagues called and messaged him to get information. But, there was no answer to that either. After which some colleagues reached his room in the hostel and knocked on the door. Even after doing this repeatedly, when Nilesh did not respond, the door was broken. Where Nilesh was found lying on the bed. After this he was taken to the hospital, where the doctor declared him dead.
Nilesh was a resident of Haryana
Nilesh Kumar, originally a resident of Gurugram Janiyawat police station Farukhabad Haryana, was selected for medical studies in Patna AIIMS in 2016. From here he completed his MBBS studies in 2021. After this, in the year 2022, Nilesh got admission in PG course in the Anesthesia Department of Patna AIIMS. Here he was doing medical practice along with his studies.
Dr. Nilesh’s parents reach AIIMS Patna and cry in bad condition
On Saturday, after receiving the news of the death of PG student Dr. Nilesh Kumar in AIIMS, his father and mother reached AIIMS. Seeing the dead body of their young son, both of them started crying loudly. The parents wanted to know how their son died. Nilesh’s mother was saying again and again that who was she who ate her son in his youth. But none of Nilesh’s classmates and friends knew about this.
Four page note found in Nilesh’s room
A four-page note was also found from Nilesh’s room in the hostel, in which it was written that he was cheated in love and he was broken by that deception. In the suicide note, he has talked about what he would do while alive when she is no longer with him. He cannot live without her and is ending his life. To embrace death, he had poisoned and injected himself into the body. The FSL team has recovered the injection from the room.
Fear of death due to muscle paralysis
In a press release issued by AIIMS after this incident, it has been told that from the initial information of the police, it seems that this suicide death may be due to the injection of a paralyzing agent into the muscles. Also, it appears that this step has been taken due to some personal problems, which have nothing to do with the academics and management of Patna.
Police is investigating call details
Police Station Head Shafir Alam said that the post-mortem of the body has been done at PMCH. Doctor Nilesh’s mobile has been kept under investigation. Everything will be known after the call details. When the police investigated, they found a four-page suicide note. There was mention of a girl in it but there was no name of anyone. The police found the girl’s name in another document but it was not clear.
Center to be set up for counseling of students and resident doctors
Director of AIIMS Patna informed that special center will be set up for counseling of students and resident doctors with provision of psychological counseling therapy, behavioral therapy and yoga therapy rehabilitation to ensure that the doctors and students who are under stress of duties. So that they can get all the facilities.
