Sushmita Sen learned Kalaripayattu for ‘Arya’
Produced by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi, ‘Arya’ is the official remake of the Dutch television series ‘Penoja’, whose story revolves around a woman and her struggle to save her family. Former ‘Miss Universe’ Sen said, “It is a great honor for any actor or actress to play these characters (Arya in ‘Arya’ and Gauri Sawant in ‘Tali’), but for an actress like me, who has quit acting. It is really an honor and a big responsibility for someone who has made a comeback and who was not even at the peak of her career, to get such an opportunity. Sushmita Sen went to Kerala for the third season of ‘Arya’. Also took training in the martial art Kalaripayattu. She said, “I thought it would be very difficult, but the team that taught me made it fun.” The actress said that there was a time when she was afraid of reviews but now she accepted both positive and negative reviews. Have learned to take it easy. Sikandar Kher, Vikas Kumar, Maya Sarao and Ila Arun have also acted in ‘Arya-3’.
