Chaitra Navratri starts from the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. This year, Pratipada Tithi of Chaitra Shukla will start on 08th April at 11.50 pm. When Pratipada Tithi begins, there will be a solar eclipse. Chaitra Pratipada Tithi will end the next day on April 9 at 08:30 in the evening. Udaya Tithi is considered in Sanatan Dharma, hence Ghatasthapana is held on 09th April. Let us tell you that this solar eclipse will not be visible in India, because this solar eclipse is taking place at night, due to which the Sutak period will also not be valid. Therefore, the solar eclipse will not have any impact on the Ghatasthapana and worship of Maa Durga.

Do this work after solar eclipse
Mantras should be chanted during the eclipse. After the eclipse ends, take bath with Ganga water and sprinkle Ganga water in the entire house. After this, spread a clean red cloth on the place where the Ghat is to be established and establish the Ghat. Make a swastika on the ghat with roli or sandalwood. Then go down and tie Molli around the neck. Now fill water in a copper Kalash and tie a nada on its upper part and place it on the earthen vessel i.e. Ghat.
