Lucknow: The Supreme Court will hear the murder case of Mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Khalid Azim Ashraf on April 24. Along with this, the Supreme Court has agreed to hear the demand for investigation of 183 encounters in Uttar Pradesh since 2017.
In the petition filed in the Supreme Court, a demand has been made to form an independent expert committee under the supervision of a former judge of the apex court. This petition has been filed by famous advocate Vishal Tiwari. It has been said in the petition that since 2017, all the 183 encounters in UP should be investigated by the expert committee.
