CAA , Know who will get citizenship

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Centre, said there are 237 petitions and out of those pending petitions, four interim petitions have been filed against the implementation of the rules. The Indian government enacted the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019, paving the way for granting citizenship to non-Muslim immigrants from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan who came to India before December 31, 2014. These petitions have been filed after the Center has notified the rules four years after the controversial Act was passed by Parliament.
